Business Consulting
Deeper Support for Business-Wide Challenges and Growth Initiatives
I work with established businesses that need more than coaching alone.
Business Consulting is designed for situations where a specific issue, growth challenge or broader business priority requires deeper analysis, clearer structure and hands-on support to move it forward.
Depending on the engagement, I may work with the owner, leadership team or people across the broader business.
20 minutes. No obligation. A practical conversation about your business.
When consulting makes sense
Some Business Challenges Need More Than Advice
Business Consulting is for situations where the issue sits deeper in the business and requires more than a coaching conversation.
The focus is on diagnosing the problem, creating the right structure and helping the business work through it.
Consulting may be the right fit when:
The issue is broader
- A growth or performance issue is affecting the business
- The challenge crosses multiple areas
- Systems, structure or accountability need to improve
- An important initiative is not progressing
The business needs deeper support
- You need an external perspective
- The leadership team needs greater clarity or alignment
- Strategy needs to be translated into action
- The owner needs support to drive change
What we may work on
Focused Support Around the Areas That Matter Most
Depending on the business and the issue, the engagement may include:
Sales Growth
Improve sales structure, pipeline management, sales activity, conversion and accountability.
Leadership & Accountability
Clarify expectations, strengthen leadership rhythms and improve ownership across the team.
Strategy & Growth
Identify growth priorities, improve strategic focus and translate direction into a practical plan.
Execution & Performance
Improve how priorities are tracked, reviewed and turned into measurable progress.
Time & Owner Dependency
Reduce unnecessary reliance on the owner by improving structure, delegation, decision-making and accountability.
Team Performance
Address performance issues, communication gaps, role clarity and broader team effectiveness.
What the engagement looks like
Practical Support From Diagnosis Through to Implementation
Every consulting engagement starts with understanding the issue, identifying the real constraints and determining what needs to change.
From there, the level of support is shaped around the complexity of the challenge and the amount of implementation required.
Depending on the scope, this may include:
Diagnose
- Business or functional diagnostics
- Interviews with owners, leaders or team members
- Review of existing data, systems or processes
- Identification of key constraints
Design
- Strategy and action planning
- Development of practical tools, frameworks or processes
- Facilitation with the leadership team
Implement
- Implementation support
- Progress reviews and accountability
Some engagements are focused and short-term. Others require ongoing support across several months.
How consulting differs from coaching
More Hands-On. More Business-Wide.
Individual Coaching primarily supports you as the owner or leader.
Business Consulting goes further into the business itself.
That may involve diagnosing problems, reviewing processes, developing solutions, working with multiple people and helping implement change.
If the challenge sits mainly with the owner, coaching may be enough.
If the challenge sits across the business, consulting may be the better fit.
Let’s Work Out What the Business Needs
You do not need to know whether consulting is the right solution before we speak.
In a 20-minute Strategic Growth Consultation, we will discuss:
- What is happening in the business now
- What you want to improve
- What appears to be getting in the way
- Whether Business Consulting is the right level of support
